VOGUE CHINA w/ Aline Weber 70s Revival -
On location in Paris in a beautiful house near the river. It’s the very end of the season but it still feels like full summer. Everyone is happy and smiling on this beautiful sunny day.
Aline is a real brazilian soul ! Happy, fun, relaxed, heaven to work with. The story, 70s Revival, is about a trendy, classy, jet-set girl with style, panache and great personal taste. She makes it happen.
To define the character we decided on long, blond, 70s hairstyles – soft, wavy hair that frames the face with free-flowing loose tresses. A done but slightly undone style.
To create this texture and style
— I blow dry Aline’s hair wet with no products.
— Use my medium curling iron to softly wave her hair.
— Brush through the texture thoroughly with my paddle brush to make sure all the curls are free and fully open. Then I fine-tune the waves of hair framing the face to push the soft, relaxed look.
— To complete the look I warm a few drops of Oribe hair serum in the palms of my hands. I run my hands through Aline’s hair to make sure I will have a beautiful silky texture all over – then I work the hair for a controlled but free and sexy look with some fly-away locks.
