VOGUE CHINA w/ Eniko Mihalik Fresh Free Cut & Style -

VOGUE CHINA w/ Eniko Mihalik Fresh Free Cut & Style

A great day with the gorgeous Eniko Mihalik for this China Vogue Beauty story. The idea for the hair was a just-out-of-the-shower-look, free, fresh and sexy and for the makeup Topolino worked his magic!

Topolino, the legendary make-up artist used a glossy-silvery palette delicately applied for a beautifully subtle and enchanting finish. David Dunan the photographer was a dream to work with, open to spontaneity and moments of expression with make-up and hair. Charles Varenne styled stylishly and Kathy Phillips and Natasha boosted the team to be creative and inspirational as always for Vogue China Beauty shoots. It was all around a super cool creative feeling.

After cutting away twelve inches or so of Eniko’s hair we discovered a new Eniko that Topolino and I could style and present in a different way. I used only hair serum and a comb concentrating on shapes or creating subtle movement inspired by Charles Varenne’s styling. It was a great day full of enthusiasm.

I gave Eniko a short hair cut,  a fantastic look for her.

Serum:  I used a large amount of serum from KOS Paris combing it in from roots to tips and massaged it through Eniko’s hair.

Comb:  I combed the hair to free it from knots and tangles and then in all directions to make sure that every strand was smooth and coated in serum, now I had the base I needed to start creating shapes.
