VOGUE NETHERLANDS w/ Rianne van Rompaey -
We are at Sala Prod in Paris to shoot a Vogue Netherlands cover and story. Our model is Rianne van Rompaey, a super sweet and super cool dutch model. She has a marvelous face, beautiful, very inspiring.
It was a dream team with photographer Nico Bustos who is always open to stylish, glam and sexy.
The idea was to approach this story with a strong feeling for the 80s think supermodels like Cindy Crawford and Christie Brinkley as inspirational reference – glamorous and sexy.
For the hair style, I wet the tips of the hair and kept the mid length to roots dry and then created subtle shapes.
Hair Tools & Products, How to get this look:
Wet: Prepare the hair by first wetting it with a water spray.
Preparation: I used a few drops of Phytokératin Extrême Cream from the mid-length to the tips to detangle and prepare a good base for the texture.
Mousse: I then added a Phyto Intense Volume Mousse to the roots to increase the volume further so I could use the resulting texture to create different shapes and sweeps with the hair.
Brush: With Rianne’s head down I dried her hair and brushed through using just my hands as a comb.
Style: I used my mini paddle brush to organize the hair in preparation for the next step, that of creating various shapes with the hair.
Finish: To up the glam, polish the style and pronounce the half wet half dry look I added some Phyto Huile Supreme from the mid-length to the tips.
