WONDERLAND w/ Hailey Baldwin Flowing Locks -
It’s a freezing cold morning in a studio in london. We’re working with the super cool Hailey Baldwin on a story for Wonderland with a strong 70s / 80s vibe styled by the talented Anna Trevelyan.
Matt Irwin the photographer is always open for fun styles and always encouraging hair and make up to push the looks to create a strong personality.
We discussed the story and agreed to develop the hairstyles into something quiet spectacular: big volume, rolling waves, maxed out glam. Hailey was the perfect model to carry this kind of look for this major fashion story for Wonderland magazine.
To create this style I worked with some Show Beauty hair products, a brand created by Tamara Ecclestone, and finished off with Oribe for shine
— Wet & Mousse: I used Lux Volume Mousse and worked it into Hailey’s wet hair
— Blow Dry: I blow dried her hair to create maximum volume
— Curl: For soft, big, rolling, glamorous waves, I used a medium sized curling iron
— Brush & Tease: To amp up the volume I brushed through the texture with my paddle brush and teased the hair
— Shape & Spray: I created different shapes from the teased hair and used the Premium Working Texture Spray to keep them in place
— Shine: To finish I used a few drops of Oribe hair serum, it’s a light serum that gives a beautiful shine and leaves the hair texture looking natural
